What is IOTA? What are the advantages and disadvantages of iota?

What is iota? How can we define iota? IOTA is a project of crowdfunding in 2014. The purpose is to use a DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph, tangled in IOTA - Tangle) instead of a blockchain to implement a distributed, irreversible (cryptographically guaranteed) information transfer technology, based on this, integrates cryptocurrency functions to serve the Internet of Things.

Advantages of IOTA:
1. zero transaction fees;
2. the speed of confirmation is fast;
3. the bigger the network, the safer (the bigger the network, the faster the transaction is confirmed and the more secure the network is)

Disadvantages of IOTA:
1. the Curl algorithm and the ternary logic are unique. It was developed by the iota team and it is not easy for the public to accept it.
2. some people have tested and publicly claimed that IOTA's hashing algorithm can generate conflicting transactions and can identify two keys with the same hash value. Attackers have the opportunity to conduct conflict trading attacks.

In the end, investment is a process of realizing value depends on your wise and benevolence, don't be jealous of those friends who run into the field and make several times the monthly profit.
